21 Things I Love About Being Single

  1. It’s 12pm on a bright Easter Sunday in quarantine. I open my eyes, stretch and breathe a sigh of relief as I realize the only person I have to answer to is the Risen Savior.

  2. Today, I took inventory on how long before I need to shave my legs again. x = whenever I want to

  3. Watched another episode of Married At First Sight only to be triggered by something someone did in every single last one of the couples

  4. I cooked. After I ate, there was only enough food left for me and me again.

  5. My birthday isn’t for another 6 months. My mom’s birthday is still 8 away. There will be no mandatory, unexpected, financially driven displays of love until then. :)

  6. It’s 3am and I’m on the phone with....... wouldn’t you like to know?

  7. My belly loves snacks but I tell it “not to worry” I happen to still think it looks lovely and will protect it from the eyes of others.

  8. Me and Amazon.com are already in a committed relationship.

  9. My imaginary kids are so well behaved! I haven’t had to tell them to “stop doing that” in forever.

  10. While I was making cookies last week, I licked the spoon, twice.

  11. I drove recklessly, got a ticket and paid it without the slightest explanation to a soul. Well, if you don’t count my traffic school instructor...

  12. I thought I’d lost my favorite wristband one time but it turns out it was exactly where I left it.

  13. There was the cutest baby on my last flight screaming to the high heavens. That was almost traumatizing for me but thank God I had my Noise cancelling Headphones.

  14. Me and my start-up business are already in a committed relationship.

  15. There are roughly 10 guys in my DM’s right now waiting on a reply. Patience is such a virtue. :)

  16. Having my laundry on the other side of the bed makes it so much easier for me to find vital items in my wardrobe when I need them.

  17. *Picks up the phone* “Oh hey, friend! “Sure, I can meet you there in an hour. Let me go pack.”

  18. I was so cranky and irritable with myself the other day and I didn’t even have to apologize. :)

  19. Car seat, where?

  21. After I finish writing this, I’m going back to sleep.
